  139.  I have been playing LIBERATION on it for 25 hours a day, and the game is

  141.  exellent with the added speech and CD music!

  145.  Could you get it to install on the Harddrive? I certainly couldn't get it

  147.  to run from my Harddrive !?! (This was one of the reasons I bought a CD32,

  173.  one of, if not THE biggest collection of AGA Public Domain Software in the

  192.  Well, what do you know! I picked up CU AMIGA the other day (end of March)

  194.  and they had some shocking news!

  196.  NO RALLY FOR AMIGA! was their headline, refering to that exellent PC

  198.  game with those rather sexy looking graphics!

  200.  Erm, wait a minute, didn't CHANNEL Z tell you that in the March/April

  202.  Issue? which was released on the 1st March?

  204.  Remember where you here the HOTTEST news FIRST ! ! !

  208.  Three words spring to mind when talking about games,

  212.  or TFX to those who are drooling over it!

  214.  Well, its on its way (it should be with us in July!) On the A1200 it
  215.  
  216.  will be HardDisk installable, but WON'T have as much detail as the PC
  217.  
  218.  version. Although CD32 users will have the FULL PC version with ALL the
  219.  
  220.  colours/shading and stuff! (Look out for a Full review soon, If
  221.  
  222.  it comes out of course!!)

  225.  In the months of March/April, I visited a fair number of Computer Shows,
  226.  
  227.  and some of the stuff that was on offer at some of them was, to say the
  228.  
  229.  least a bit dodgy. I was a bit dissapointed to see things like Internal
  230.  
  231.  180Mb IDE Harddrives with the word "UNTESTED" on them, selling for £20.00.
  232.  
  233.  I mean, who in their right mind would buy one, some poor teenager would
  234.  
  235.  buy one with his last £20.00, only to get it home to find that it is
  236.  
  237.  totally Knackered! I also saw Phillips Monitors (Not switched on of course)
  238.  
  239.  being sold for as little as £75.00.
  240.  
  241.  With a World shortage in monitors at the moment, I suspect that a few people
  242.  
  243.  will have bought one, only to find that that too was knackered.

  245.  So come on Amiga users, AND sellers, we all have one thing in common -

  249.  Lets stop ripping each other off at these so called "Computer shows", all
  250.  
  251.  they turn out to be are Junk sales.

  253.  Im not getting at ALL the companies though. Take Telescan Computers of

  255.  Blackpool, they had an exellent stand at some of the shows I visited, 
  256.  
  257.  and had some exellent Software on offer. They had a "table/stand" 
  258.  
  259.  whatever you want to call it! at the Norbreck Castle show in Blackpool, 
  260.  
  261.  with monitors showing the likes of Subliminal XTC! 
  262.  
  263.  I heard one PC owner telling his "mate" all about "How good these PCs 
  264.  
  265.  really are and how the graphics are cool". He soon left when I told him 
  266.  
  267.  it was an AMIGA displaying those "cool" graphics!!!!!
  268.  
  269.  I attended the Winter Gardens show in Blackpool as a seller, rather than
  270.  
  271.  a buyer, it was an experience in itself! 
  272.  
  273.  I was quite astounded in the amount of people that came up to us and said,
  274.  
  275.  "Do you do that Channel Z Disk Mag?", and was amused at the reaction when
  276.  
  277.  I said "Yes we do, I'm the Editor!" There was handshakes and congrat's
  278.  
  279.  and everything!

  281.  So you can see that not ALL Amiga owners are out to rip you off.

  283.  The ones that are though are thoughtless people who just couldn't care how
  284.  
  285.  the AMIGA goes. Take one chap that was selling BUG Joysticks for less than
  286.  
  287.  £3.00, I asked him why they were so cheap, his reply was ----
  288.  
  289.  "Cause their nicked mate!" Is this the right attitude?  I think NOT.

  291.  Right, now i've got that off my chest.......
