Transcription: This is underwater video of a kelp forest. Kelp is a form of algae and as you learned in your book, algae belong in kingdom protista. They look like plants and they even do photosynthesis like plants. However, they are not plants because they lack the roots, stems and leaves which are characteristics of plants.
