- CONFIG.CTL is a "point-and-shoot" editor for your CONFIG.SYS file. It is
- invoked in your CONFIG.SYS file, and will modify the RAM image of the
- CONFIG.SYS file when the machine performs the bootstrap load. You may load
- your CONFIG.SYS file with every device driver and as many BUFFERS=, FILES=,
- and FCBS= as you have ever used, then with CONFIG.CTL change the parameters
- to suit your needs each time you boot the machine. De-activated statements
- in the CONFIG.SYS file will generate a harmless "Unrecognized command in
- Config.sys" message. Ignore them (see CONFIG.ASM for information on the
- in RAM format for CONFIG.SYS statements. also see the original magazine
- article for even more information on CONFIG.CTL and DOS device drivers).
