  20. In respect of all material which forms my reader contribution to Future
  21. Publishing's Amiga Format I hereby warrant that:-

  23. (1)  the material is original and does not infringe any other material or 
  24.      rights;

  26. (2)  the material does not contain any material which is defamatory, 
  27.      obscene or indecent and is exempt from classification under the Video 
  28.      Recordings Act 1984;

  40. VDB requires the following in order to run:

  45. 68020 processor or better (68040, 68060 & Gfx Card not yet tested!)

  47. Around 400k free public memory on program execution.

  49. Installation to read \ writtable media.

  51. xen.font, size 9 in FONTS:

  53. mathieeedoubtrans.library, 
  54. mathieedoubbas.library,    Any version.

  56. diskfont.library
  57. graphics.library
  58. intuition.library
  59. gadtools.library,    Version 37+, in LIBS:

  67. Copy all the files in the VDB3.1b_Complete directory to read/writtable media.
  68.  
  69. To quickly test the program click on the VDB_ASSIGNS icon to create temporary
  70. assigns to the current directory that the files were copied to.
  71.  
  72. The simple Amiga Dos script should create a directory called VDB_records with
  73. 3 further directories inside that one as : alternate, original & standard.
  74.  
  75. These are needed for the program to be able to read and write its data records
  76. successfully.
  77.  
  78. These assigns would of-course be better invoked from a start-up script!
  79.  
  80. Once the directories have been created and assigned the program can be run
  81. by clicking on the VDB, or VDB_custom icon.

  83. VDB allows usage on the workbench screen, and VDB_custom uses a med-res
  84. custom screen.
