  5. This package contains a Windows-Sockets compliant version of WinQVT/Net.
  6. It should run compatibly with any transport DLL that implements the
  7. Winsock API, v1.1 (WINSOCK.DLL).

  9. Note: WinQVT/Net does not itself provide Winsock services!
  10.  
  11.  
  12. You should ignore all of the references in README.WRI to packet
  13. drivers and PKTINT.COM. Neither are used in a Windows Sockets environment.
  14.  
  15. In addition, the QVTHOST.RC file is not used. Instead, the 'hosts' file
  16. from your WINSOCK installation will be used.
  17.  
  18. Make sure that you include a line such as the following in your 'hosts' file:

  20.     <your PC's IP address> <your PC's host name>
