- DBTALK is a Object-Oriented Development tool for developing GUI based
- applications on an IBM PC/AT compatible machine with VGA graphics. If you want
- a free tool to produce your own DOS database applications with user interfaces
- that look like WINDOWS applications then take a look at DBTALK.
-
- It is NOT a toy or a demo, but a suite of fully working programs which are used
- daily by its developer on a professional basis. It uses an object-oriented
- programming language called ADL based 'Clipper plus Class(Y)' standard. It is
- NOT an xBase interpreter.
-
- It provides visual design tools to design screens, icons, fonts, bitmap, vector
- graphics objects and other resources. It uses a memory scaleable run-time
- engine which interprets Clipper code blocks. It provides a resource compiler
- which converts source code into code blocks and combines the array of code
- blocks, a run-time engine and all other resources into an EXE file for
- execution.
-
- See README.TOO for further details.
