  1.               BBSoterica (tm) Quickstart Documentation

  4.     To help you get started with your first issue of BBSoterica (tm),
  5. please follow these directions:
  6.  
  7.     1. Make a directory, such as C:\BBSLIST
  8.     2. Copy all files in the distribution archive into this directory.
  9.     3. Type CD C:\BBSLIST
  10.     4. At the prompt, type GO <CR>
  11.     5. GO.BAT will examine the directory to make sure that all necessary
  12.          files for the current issue are present, and then automatically
  13.          start the magazine.

  15. *WARNING* If UPGRADING to a new issue, please read the following:
  16.  
  17.     1. Unarchive the issue into a NEW  magazine directory, as earlier
  18.        issues are NOT compatible with the newest reader.
  19.     2. Type GO <CR> to start the newest issue immediately.
  20.     3. If desired, type OHREAD <CR> to pull up a list of all issues
  21.        available on your hard drive, but be careful: earlier works will
  22.        crash when run with a later reader.
