  6. AWARD 1.0  04/04/1992    Initial release.

  8. AWARD 1.1  04/14/1992    Move the game screen external to the EXE
  9.                          file.  This vastly improved the overall looks
  10.                          of the door.  Worked on a few of the routines
  11.                          to optimize them a bit.   SysOps may now
  12.                          specify the number of times a user can play
  13.                          the door each day.  This is accomplished by
  14.                          entering the number of times allowed on the
  15.                          11th line of the CFG file.  You *MUST* add
  16.                          this line to the CFG. file.  Line 10 has
  17.                          changed in that the door now has the ability
  18.                          to create PCBoard specific color coded
  19.                          bulletins.   Place "PCB" on line 10 for
  20.                          PCBoard bulletins and "WC" for WC!3.x
  21.                          specific color bulletins.  Anything else or
  22.                          blank will create ANSI & ASCii bulletins.

  24. AWARD 2.0  11/08/1992    MAJOR UPGRADE!
  25.                          A complete reinstallation is required.  The
  26.                          database is no longer encrypted.  Several of
  27.                          the screens have changed.  Display routines are
  28.                          much faster now.  I've also added several
  29.                          options to the Game Screen instead of asking
  30.                          them before the user gets there.  Users may now
  31.                          view the instructions or change their color
  32.                          selections at any time during the game.  This
  33.                          release was also compiled using the new Visual
  34.                          Basic/DOS from MicroSoft.  AWARD may also be
  35.                          run locally by entering:

  39.                          from the DOS prompt.  If you are using the old
  40.                          MAINTAIN.EXE program, DO NOT attempt to use it
  41.                          with this release.  It will corrupt the
  42.                          databases.  A new version is available to
  43.                          registered sysops from The Parole Board BBS.

  45. AWARD 2.11  1/23/93      Fixed the auto reset routine.

  47. AWARD 2.2   3/6/93       Reworked the date routines.  Modified the
  48.                          auto-reset routine because it wasn't working
  49.                          correctly on all systems.

  51. AWARD 2.3    5/1/93      !!! CFG FILE CHANGE !!!
  52.                          Added a 12th line to the CFG file.  This one
  53.                          specifies if you wish to create RIP style
  54.                          bulletins or not.  Place "RIP" if you wish RIP
  55.                          bulletins and an "N" if you do not want or need
  56.                          them.

  59.                          DOOR.SYS and USERINFO.DAT in WC!3.9.  Optimized
  60.                          the code quite a bit to make it smaller and
  61.                          faster.
