  1.                   HOW TO USE THE AFCD SUBSDISK EXTRACTOR

  4. The extractor is still at an early stage in its development at the moment so
  5. you might find it a bit temperamental if you don't follow these instructions...
  6.  
  7.      1. Double click on the "AFxxSubsDisk" icon. This will bring up a window
  8.     with a text box in it.
  9.

  11.      2. Have a disk ready. It must be write enabled, but the extractor
  12.     doesn't care whether it is formatted or not.

  15.      3. Insert the disk in df0:
  16.

  18.      4. Type the password into the text field in the extractor's window and
  19.     hit return.
  20.  
  21.     
  22.      5. If you have entered the right password, the drive light will come on
  23.     and stay on for about a minute (it might flicker, it depends on your
  24.     drive).

  27.      6. If you entered the wrong password, the drive light will come on for
  28.     a maximum of ten seconds, then go out again. No other warning will be
  29.     given. You can try entering the password again, making sure you are
  30.     spelling the password correctly and that the capitalisation of the
  31.     password is correct.

  34. The only problems arise when you don't follow the order given here. If all else
  35. fails, you can always reboot...
