- Short: MPEG-1 Video Software Encoder (Version 1.3; March 14, 1994)
- Type: gfx/conv
- Uploader: dnehring@TechFak.Uni-Bielefeld.DE
-
- This archive contains the freely distributed Berkeley MPEG-1 Video
- Encoder. The encoder implements the standard described in the ISO/IEC
- International Standard 11172-2. The code has been compiled with the gcc
- 2.5.8 on the Amiga at April 16, 1994.
-
- This version has the following limitations:
- - Parallel Processing doesn't work (or has anyone more than 1 powerful
- Amigas in a Network?)
- - INPUT_CONVERT not testet, use the PPM or YUV File Format and
- 'INPUT_CONVERT *' (you can convert your files with the NetPBM-Package,
- binaries are available at ftp.informatik.uni-oldenburg.de
- [134.106.1.9] in /pub/netpbm/amiga, or on all Aminet sites in
- /pub/aminet/gfx/pbm.)
-
- Usage:
- 1. Create some picture in PPM or YUV File Format
- 2. Create a Parameter File like "test.param"
- 3. Execute "mpeg_encode test.param" => a MPEG-Anim will be created
