  8.       The executable files TSERVE, NSSFX, NSMFX, GENIE, SETGENIE and their
  9. accompanying documentation are shareware. They are protected by copyright
  10. and may not be used, reproduced and/or distributed except in accordance with
  11. terms set out herewith.

  13.       The software may be used and passed on to other users freely for
  14. evaluation for 30 days after it was obtained, with the conditions
  15. that all files in the package (i.e. TSERVE.EXE, TS.REX, TSERVE.DOC,
  16. CRUSADE.NRC and SHAREWAR.E) be included in transfers, that no copyright
  17. notices be removed, and no part of the code or documents be modified. No
  18. money shall be charged for transfers, except to recover the cost of media
  19. and/or communication costs.
  20.       After the trial period the user may discard the software without
  21. any obligation. If, however, he (she) finds the program useful, then he
  22. (she) is expected to register it and obtain an appropriate licence (single
  23.  or network user). The registration is explained below.

  27.       The software is sold without warranty of any kind and with no
  28. representation to fitness for any particular use or task. Its proprietor
  29. shall not be liable to anyone for any damages, special, consequential,
  30. indirect, including any lost profits, damage or loss of data which are
  31. alleged to have arisen as a result of the use or inability to use the
  32. software.
  33.       In addition, the user is on notice that this software relies,
  34. for its functionality and integrity, on a public service provided by the
  35. Federal Government of Canada, the continuance and quality of which is
  36. beyond the control of the software proprietor.

  39. REGISTRATION
  40.  
  41.       Please, register using the form supplied below. There are three
  42. different registrations you may take: [1] a single user, [2] a single
  43. -server feed, [3] multiple-server licence. On payment of the
  44. registration fee, all three will receive :

  46.       ■ timely updates on the status of the NRC service for 1 year
  47.       ■ expanded version of TSERVE and 2 free updates
  48.       ■ free support via COMPUSERVE
  49.
