  3. Shareware distribution gives users a chance to try software before buying it. 
  4. If you try a Shareware program and continue using it, you are expected to 
  5. register. With registration, you get anything from the simple right to
  6. continue using the software to an updated program with a printed manual.

  8. Copyright laws apply to both Shareware and commercial software, and the 
  9. copyright holder retains all rights, with a few specific exceptions as 
  10. stated below. Shareware authors are accomplished programmers, just like
  11. commercial authors, and the programs are of comparable quality. (in both
  12. cases , there are good and bad ones!) The main difference is in the method of
  13. distribution. The author specifically grants the right to copy and distribute
  14. the software, either to all and sunfry or to a specific group.

  16. Shareware is a distribution method, not a type of software. You should find 
  17. software that suits your needs and pocketbook, whether it's commercial or 
  18. Shareware. The Shareware system makes fitting your needs easier, because you

  60. The license to use this program is effective until terminated. You may 
  61. terminate the license by destroying all copies of this program. It will also 
  62. be terminated upon failure to comply with any of the terms or conditions of 
  63. this agreement.

  66. THIS PROGRAM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND.

  89. You may use TM.NLM & TS.NLM for a free 30 day trial period. If you continue 
  90. to use TM.NLM & TS.NLM after the 30 day trial period, you are required to 
  91. register your copy of TM.NLM & TS.NLM and obtain a license number.

  93. When you register TM.NLM & TS.NLM you will be given a license number and sent 
  94. a disk with the latest version (if any) of TM.NLM & TS.NLM.

  115. TM.NLM and TS.NLM, both names stand for the following:
  116.  
  117.         TM   ----> Time Master ( a Novell file server with TM.NLM loaded )
  118.         TS   ----> Time Slave  ( any other Novell file server with TS.NLM loaded )

  121. Why?
  122.  
  123. In the internetwork it is sometimes crucial to applications that the 
  124. file server they are running on have the same time/date stamp. These NLM's do 
  125. exactly that, They synchronise there time to the time of the T(ime) M(aster).
  126.  
  127. The master will set the time and all other file servers in the internet 
  128. will synchronise to it. This implies that there is 1 TM(aster) and the rest
  129. are TS(laves).

  131. How to use and Invoke the programs.

  133. Time Master:

  135. load TM                         Default mode
  136. load TM verbose                 NLM prints a message if the time has been 
  137.                                 sent to a slave (TS)

  142. load TS                         Default mode
  143. load TS verbose                 Print message if time has been synchronized
  144. load TS dummy <time>            <time> is the wait time in between the time
  145.                                 queries (default is 5 minutes). You will 
  146.                                 have to use the word 'dummy' and after that
  147.                                 the time in milliseconds.

  149. If the NLM/s are invoked with the parameter '/?' the usage will be displayed
  150. on the console.

  153. problems occured.
