  2.   Welcome to "The Itty Bitty Netmail Network", IBNnet .

  5.   IBNnet is one of the many entrants into the world of message
  6.   base echoes. IBNnet was formed For those of us that want a small
  7.   easy to manage network without all the hassles encountered by
  8.   many of the larger networks. Our aim is to stay small and still
  9.   have a Variety of conferences to choose from. If You seek a
  10.   relaxed network without 100's of conferences to worry about. If
  11.   easy access is what your looking for, Then maybe IBNnet is for
  12.   you.

  14.   IBNnet operates under QWK based software, So if your system can
  15.   handle QWK's you can probably echo with us.

  19.   IBNnet charges NO membership fees or yearly dues.
  20.  
  21.   The only required conference is: SYSOPS which is to be used
  22.   as a combined sysops and network administration conference and is
  23.   CLOSED to the general Public. For those choosing to carry the Adult
  24.   conference PROOF of age is required to carry this conference.

  27.         IBNnet Rules and Regulations

  30.   IBNnet is a Group of Bulletin Board's that share common message bases
  31.   , The bases are echoed between these Bulletin Boards via the Host,
  32.   Hub, Node system. This Network is provided by participating System
  33.   Operators, their respective Bulletin Board Systems, and the IBNnet
  34.   Host. Participation in the IBNnet is purely voluntary.

  36.   Here are the current rules and regulation concerning user
  37.   participation in all Network conferences and Network messages.
  38.  
  39.   1.  Flaming or similar personal attacks on this Network are
  40.       prohibited.  Derogatory racial, ethnic, or other such remarks are
  41.       not allowed.
  42.  
  43.   2.  No abusive or offensive language is allowed.
  44.  
  45.   3.  Real names must be used.  No ALIASES or HANDLES are allowed in
  46.       any Network Conferences unless otherwise specified in the
  47.       conference list. Such as Adult and The Dungeon.

  49.   4.  No illegal activities will be tolerated, including but not
  50.       limited to PIRACY, PHREAKING, or other CRIMINAL ACTIVITIES.

  52.   5.  Messages on this network are PUBLIC and accessible to every user
  53.       on every node of this network.
  54.  
  55.       PRIVATE messages are available only in the Dungeon conference as.
  56.       this is necessary for communicating with the Host of the Dungeon,
  57.       and the Sysops conference for private network administration mail.
  58.       While most network software currently supports this use of private
  59.       mail, the Network disclaims all responsibility should the mail
  60.       fail to remain private.

  62.       Network Sysops have the ability to monitor ALL messages routed
  63.       through their nodes.

  65.   6.  Currently there is NO message length policy, Although this may
  66.       change in the future should traffic warrant it. Excessive quoting
  67.       is not permitted.

  69.   7.  Messages should be contained within suitable conferences that
  70.       address the subject thread.

  72.   8.  The use of ANSI color signatures is NOT permitted in Network
  73.       conferences with the exception of the ANSI conference. ANSI BBS
  74.       advertisements are also allowed in the ANSI conference.

  76.   9.  Any user found to be in violation of any Network rule will be
  77.       issued a warning, subsequent violations could result in the access
  78.       to the IBNnet by said violator being removed.

  80.   10. The Network Administration assumes NO responsibility for the
  81.       contents or subject matter of any of the mail, and further
  82.       requests that any participating nodes make an effort to monitor
  83.       the Network messages coming from their systems. Lets all try to
  84.       keep this a Network we can be proud and happy to participate in.
