  3. Thank you for trying this product. I hope it meets your needs, but will 
  4. be pleased to receive any comments.

  6. This archive should contain the following files:

  8. READ.ME         This file.
  9. CHAT.EXE        The Chat program itself.
  10. CHATHELP.HLP    Online help for the Chat program.
  11. CHAT.TXT        Documentation for Chat in ASCII form.
  12. CHAT.PS         Documentation for Chat in PostScript form.
  13. REGISTER.DOC    Registration form for the Chat program.
  14. UPDATE.TXT      Describes changes to the latest version of Chat.
  15. FILE_ID.DIZ     Description of the program for some BBS systems.

  17. You may freely distribute this archive in any form, as long as all the 
  18. above files are included.
  19.  
  20. If your copy of this program does not include all the above files, it 
  21. has been altered and should be treated with suspicion.

  23. If you are of the impatient sort who will not read the documentation 
  24. before starting the program, there is one fairly non-intuitive feature 
  25. you should be aware of: to send a message, hit <Control-Enter> when you 
  26. are done editing it. If you are familiar with CUA style interfaces, this 
  27. should be all you need to get going.

  29. The ASCII version of the documentation contains minimal formatting and 
  30. should be easily printed. However, if you have a PostScript printer, I 
  31. reccomend you print the PostScript version. You can do this simply by
  32. copying the file CHAT.PS to your PostScript printer (e.g. if your 
  33. printer is on COM2, issue the DOS command "COPY /B CHAT.PS COM2").
