- Chat 0.9 README
-
- Thank you for trying this product. I hope it meets your needs, but will
- be pleased to receive any comments.
-
- This archive should contain the following files:
-
- READ.ME This file.
- CHAT.EXE The Chat program itself.
- CHATHELP.HLP Online help for the Chat program.
- CHAT.TXT Documentation for Chat in ASCII form.
- CHAT.PS Documentation for Chat in PostScript form.
- REGISTER.DOC Registration form for the Chat program.
- UPDATE.TXT Describes changes to the latest version of Chat.
- FILE_ID.DIZ Description of the program for some BBS systems.
-
- You may freely distribute this archive in any form, as long as all the
- above files are included.
-
- If your copy of this program does not include all the above files, it
- has been altered and should be treated with suspicion.
-
- If you are of the impatient sort who will not read the documentation
- before starting the program, there is one fairly non-intuitive feature
- you should be aware of: to send a message, hit <Control-Enter> when you
- are done editing it. If you are familiar with CUA style interfaces, this
- should be all you need to get going.
-
- The ASCII version of the documentation contains minimal formatting and
- should be easily printed. However, if you have a PostScript printer, I
- reccomend you print the PostScript version. You can do this simply by
- copying the file CHAT.PS to your PostScript printer (e.g. if your
- printer is on COM2, issue the DOS command "COPY /B CHAT.PS COM2").
-
- Thanks again for trying this product, and happy chatting!
