  1. Windows 3.1x and Win32s users:

  3. 1.      The Fingerer/32 was written for Windows 95 and NT.  However,
  4.         since a good number of people have been requesting a Win32s
  5.         version, I have modified te program to be Win32s "aware".
  6.  
  7. 2.      The Fingerer/32 will now run under Win32s, although it will
  8.         not be able to take advantage of the Windows 95 and NT
  9.         specific routines.  Additionally, since the ICMP.DLL that
  10.         comes with Windows 95 and NT does not come with Windows 3.1x
  11.         or Win32s, you will be unable to use the "Ping" function.

  13. 3.      INSTALLATION:
  14.  
  15.         You must #1 DELETE the MSVCRT20.DLL file supplied in The
  16.         Fingerer/32's archive, and RENAME the MSVCRT20.32S to
  17.         MSVCRT20.DLL.  (There are two versions of this file, one
  18.         for Windows 95 and NT and one for Win32s).

  20.         Check the file dates on all of the DLL files that come with
  21.         The Fingerer/32 and make sure you do not already have NEWER
  22.         versions on your system.  Then, copy (move rather) these DLL
  23.         files so they are in your search path.  /Windows/System is
  24.         the usual place.
