  5. SWAG (SourceWare Archival Group) is a collection of source code and program
  6. examples for the PASCAL programming language. The material has been donated
  7. by  various  PASCAL  programmers  from  around  the  world,  who  desire to
  8. contribute to the advancement of  one of the greatest programming languages
  9. there is.  MANY THANKS to all  who have contributed. As  such, NO Charge of
  10. any kind is permitted for this work.
  11.  
  12. The material has been collected from various network conferences worldwide,
  13. and organized  according to subject.  New material is  added quarterly, and
  14. new SWAG  packets are available  from various BBS  sources on a  FIRST call
  15. basis. See BBS.TXT for current support sites and how your BBS can join.

  18. SWAG packets are available in 60 different catagories as follows :

  33. The SWAG Reader and *.SWG files are contained in various archives (ZIP204) :

  35. SWAG.ZIP     - Contains READER.EXE and Information files.
  36. SWAGA-C.ZIP  - Contains ANSI through CURSOR
  37. SWAGD-F.ZIP  - Contains DATATYPE through FINDREPL
  38. SWAGG-M.ZIP  - Contains GRAPHICS through MOUSE
  39. SWAGN-R.ZIP  - Contains NETWORK through REDIRECT
  40. SWAGS-Z.ZIP  - Contains SAVESCRN through WIN-OS2
  41. ALLSWAGS.ZIP - Contains ALL SWAG packets PLUS READER.EXE (LOTS of bytes !!)

  43. These packages will updated approximately every 90 days, as more "snipetts"
  44. are collected.  Each update will  be provided in  a "stand-alone" EXE  file
  45. that will automatically insert the  new material to the existing libraries.
  46. These  update packages  will be  distributed the  LAST week  of each of the
  47. following months, and will be named as :

  54. Each  file  will  be  named  using  the  year  (YY) and month (2,5,8,11) of
  55. distribution.

  57. We estimate that there eventually will be over 3000 of these covering EVERY
  58. POSSIBLE aspect of PASCAL.
