  3. Welcome BETA Testers!   Here we go again....

  5. Please read the RULES.TXT file before beginning.  After that, it is important
  6. that you read the WHATSNEW and WHATSNEW.PPL files.
  7.  
  8. The WHATSNEW file lists the changes in PCBoard and its utilities in going from
  9. v15.0 to v15.1 and does not even attempt to address the changes made in PPL.
  10. For that, see the WHATSNEW.PPL file.

  12. To use the v15.1 beta file, you need to copy all of the new .EXE files over
  13. top of you current v15.0 files.
  14.  
  15. For PPL testing purposes, we ask that you try running both v15.0 PPEs as well
  16. as recompiling the PPS files that you have to ensure compatible on both fronts.
  17. Both v15.0 and v15.1 compiled PPEs should run without any difficulty.

  19. If you are using PPL, we strongly recommend that you set your overlay size to
  20. 18 or higher.  We recommend a setting of 22.  You can use the OVLSIZE program
  21. to adjust the PCBOARD.EXE file *after* downloading it.  Or, if you deselect
  22. the PCBOARD.EXE file (inside the BETA door) and then re-select it, the BETA
  23. door will prompt you for a "default" overlay size.
