  1. Welcome to MyMUD 2.0
  2.  
  3. You are now up to face your first adventure! The installation of MyMUD 2.1
  4. In the main ZIP file you found three file:
  5.  
  6.     INSTALL.BAT     The quick install batchfile.
  7.     MMUD21.ZIP      The ZIP with the real stuff
  8.  
  9. To install MyMUD you should follow the following procedure:
  10.  
  11.   1) Create a directory MyMUD21 somewhere
  12.   2) go into this directory (CD \MyMUD21)
  13.   3) Unzip the MMUD21.ZIP file with the -d parameter.
  14.  
  15.              If you forget the -d, THINGS WILL NOT WORK!!!
  16.  
  17.   4) You now have a directory with a number of subdirectories. Some
  18.      of those subdirectories contain sample worlds, other are for use
  19.      by MyMUD. In the current directory you will find some BAT file to
  20.      start up the game.
  21.  
  22.      TINY.BAT   TinyBase, a fairly complete starters world
  23.      SMALL.BAT  A small world with some puzzles
  24.      WORLD.BAT  Pontario, my test world which is not complete, but
  25.                 at least fun to wander around in. There are probably
  26.                 also a nice number of spelling and grammar errors. Sorry,
  27.                 English is nog my native language and I didn't take the
  28.                 time to check everything.
