  3. You must compile the virus using ASICC v5 with LZEXE91
  4. be sure to hex out the header at offset 28 and replace 4 bytes with
  5.

  8. These are the virus marker bytes.
  9.  
  10. WARNING: This virus is highly infectious! It will search and infect 4
  11. *.exe and *.com in each path per run, each infected file will then be
  12. able to infect other files but the infected files still run as normal
  13. :-)

  16. It is not recommended that you execute WEED.EXE unless you change your
  17. PATH to go somewhere your not worried about first, because weed can
  18. search for upto 100 paths :-) You could point your path to whatever
  19. directory weed.exe is in, and then infect other files (like a game :-)
  20. Hint hint).

  22. WEED must be compiled with asic v5 and linked with asilib (they have the
  23. path add-on) you must also (after compiling) run link.exe again like so:
  24. LINK /CPARMAXALLOC:2000 WEED

  26. This option only lets weed take 32k of ram for itself, it doesnt need
  27. it, just a safety precaution.
