  8. Purpose: a uudecode program for DOS machines which can
  9.      rename the output file from a uuencoded file
  10.  
  11. Reason: Last week I uuencode the file stuff.exe.bin on a
  12.     SUN machine and split it into a few pieces so I
  13.     could fit it onto a few disks and transport it
  14.     home to my DOS-PC.  Upon re-assembling a few
  15.     1.44 MB files, I discovered, much to my dismay,
  16.     that the uudecode programs I had could not handle
  17.     truncating the .bin off the filename it wanted
  18.     to output.  Now you can.  It's far from perfect,
  19.     it was originally intended only for use as a hack.
