- Author: Daniel Böhm (ns144@fim.uni-erlangen.de)

- Type: util/libs

- long:
-
- DESCRIPTION:
-
- This is the Klingon(TM) accent file for Francesco Devitts
- translator.library v42
- It produces the sound of Klingon according to the language and writing
- system by Marc Okrand, the creator of this language which is used often in
- StarTrek(TM)
-
- It may not sound exacty like it should, but it is the best that I could do
- for now.
-
- I also added the translator.library because it is freely distributable!
-
-
- USAGE:
-
- Simply click on the install-icon and follow the instructions!
-
- Remember, you need the original Narator.device of your WB-Disk!
- Should be located in devs: !
-
- I guess this should work!
-
- Then you can use the speak-handler to make some sounds with standard commands
- like "echo" or "type".
-
- For example: echo "Hem tlhIngan Sech 'ej maHemtaH 'e' wIHech" >SPEAK:
-
- or type "hamlet.txt" >SPEAK:
-
- The above hamlet.txt is a translation of Shakespeares great work.
- I have added it, because it is a neat example of the Klingon language.
- If you want more of this stuff, visit "http://www.kli.org"!
- Thats where I found it!
-
-
- HISTORY:
-
- 17.4.95 First release with Francesco Devitts Translatorlib 42.4
-
- Sounded nice under the narator.device of os1.3
-
- 19.4.95 (One year later!!)
-
- I corrected the klingon-file that will sound better under the 2.x
- narator.device. (The sound of "H" & "gh")
-
-
- DISCLAIMER:
-
- The Klingon Accent file is freely distributable!
- And so is the translator.library of Francesco Devitt!
- Klingon & Star Trek are trademarks by Paramount Pictures (I guess ;)
- The Klingon language has been created by Marc Okrand!
