- MicroHelp VBTools 2.1 Demonstration Program
-
- The demonstration consists of these files:
-
- READ .ME This file
- VBT2DEMO.EXE Demonstration program
- VBT2DEMO.DAT Data file containing text information
- VBT2DEMO.HLP Sample online help file
- VBT2DEMO.PLB Bitmap library
- MHCARDS .DLL Playing card bitmaps
-
- You'll also need the following files, which can be found in VBT2RT.EXE
- (VBTools 2.1 runtime libraries.)
-
- MHEN200.VBX
- MHAD200.VBX
- MHGR200.VBX
- MHTI200.VBX
-
- In order to run this demonstration, you'll need the Visual Basic
- runtime DLL. The name of the file is VBRUN100.DLL. If you don't already
- have Visual Basic, there are two places where you can obtain it (along
- with VBT2RT.EXE). In both places, the name of the files to
- download are VBT2RT.EXE and VBRUN.ZIP:
-
- CompuServe: GO MSBASIC <Enter>
- LIB 5 <Enter>
- D VBRUN.ZIP
- D VBT2RT.EXE
-
- MicroHelp BBS: (404) 516-1397 (300-2400 baud)
- (404) 516-1497 (4800-19200 baud)
- After registering, type the following at the main
- menu prompt:
-
- D VBRUN.ZIP
- D VBT2RT.EXE
-
- In order to run the demo and view the "details" about each
- control from within the demo, the files VBT2DEMO.PLB and
- VBT2DEMO.DAT must be in the same directory as VBT2DEMO.EXE.
-
- If you are already a user of VBTools, the MH??200.VBX files
- are the *runtime* DLL's from VBTools 2.0. Therefore, you should
- delete MH??200.VBX from this directory so that VB doesn't find
- them first when you want to work in design mode!
-
- The *.VBX files are *runtime* versions of our DLL's. Attempting to
- load them into the VB environment will cause an error to occur.
-
- If you have any problems installing or running the demonstration program,
- please call MicroHelp at (404) 516-0899.
