  4. On this diskette you'll find demonstration programs for the following
  5. MicroHelp products for Visual Basic:
  6.  
  7.   VBTools 
  8.   VBXRef
  9.   MicroHelp Muscle
  10.   MicroHelp Communications Library
  11.  
  12. The MicroHelp Network Library demo is now on a separate disk.
  13.   
  14. Also include are three *FREE* custom controls, which require that you
  15. have Visual Basic.  
  16.  
  17. The Visual Basic programs require the Visual Basic runtime library,
  18. VBRUN100.DLL. If you don't have this file, there are two places
  19. where you can obtain it. In both places, the name of the file to
  20. download is VBRUN.ZIP:

  33. Installing the Demo Programs
  34. ────────────────────────────

  36. 1. Log on to this diskette. Assuming it's in drive A:, type:
  37.  
  38.      A: <Enter>
  39.  
  40. 2. Invoke the INSTALL.BAT batch file with any one of the following
  41.    commands. Note that the C: on each line assumes you want to install
  42.    the demos on a hard disk C:. If you want to install them on another
  43.    drive, simply change the C: to the appropriate drive.

  45.    INSTALL C: ALL <Enter> REM Installs all of the demos
  46.    INSTALL C: U <Enter>   REM Installs the demo for MicroHelp Muscle
  47.    INSTALL C: C <Enter>   REM Installs the demo for Communications Library
  48.    INSTALL C: V <Enter>   REM Installs the demo for VBTools
  49.    INSTALL C: X <Enter>   REM Installs the demo for VBXRef
  50.    INSTALL C: F <Enter>   REM Installs the free custom controls
  51.  
  52.    In each case, the INSTALL batch file will create a directory called
  53.    MHDEMOS on your hard disk. In addition, it will create a subdirectory
  54.    for each set of the demonstration programs that you install. The
  55.    subdirectory names, corresponding to the above list, are shown below.
  56.    The numbers to the right of the directory names represent the
  57.    approximate amount of disk space used by the demos, if installed
  58.    individually.
