  3. INTRODUCTION
  4. You are Super Joe the  crack  combat  soldier of the eighties battling
  5. against all odds to defeat  the  advancing rebel forces. Equipped with
  6. only an M60 machine gun and six  hand grenades you carry out your lone
  7. crusade, forcing your way  into  hostile  territory. Mortars, grenades
  8. and dynamite rain from the sky  and  explode around you. Enemy bullets
  9. fly past you in all directions,  trenches, cliffs and lakes block your
  10. path. Rebel forces appear from caves,  strong holds and troop carriers
  11. to stop your progress. You must  show  no mercy. You must not retreat.
  12. You must keep pushing yourself  further  and further into enemy lines,
  13. collecting supplies of hand-grenades from defeated outposts, until you
  14. reach your final objective, the fortress.
  15. Developed with the aid of Capcom to produce the closest possible home-
  16. computer simulation of the original  arcade  number one hit game. Have
  17. you got the skill and stamina to defeat the enemy?
