  20. {7This summer {3Quartz {7will be holding the
  21. first major 2 day Amiga event in
  22. England. Unlike most other party
  23. organisers we are not in it to make
  24. money. {5All profits will go towards
  25. prize money, and making this the best
  26. party yet!!

  28. {7Everything written below WILL happen.
  29. These are NOT just empty promises!

  32.        August, 1992.

  52. {4Competitions:

  54. {7As well as the usual demo, graphics
  55. and music competitions, there will
  56. also be a 9 pin Skittles tornament
  57. (for both individuals and teams), a
  58. tug of war competition, a football
  59. competition, and a darts competition.
  60. There will also be some REALLY crazy
  61. competitions such as a real-time RSI
  62. demomaker competition, and a cool disk
  63. throwing competition. There will also
  64. be many other surprise competitions
  65. (see later - Ed!) and a prize draw on
  66. the tickets.

  68. {4Competition judging:
  69.  
  70. {7The demo, graphics and music
  71. competitions will be judged by you!
  72. You will be issued with a voting form
  73. upon your arrival, votes will be
  74. collected and counted independantly,
  75. so no-one can moan about vote rigging.

  77. {4Prizes:
  78.  
  79. {7We plan to bring you the biggest
  80. prizes EVER! For example, the first
  81. prize in the demo competition will be
  82. based on the number of people who
  83. attend (so come along! -the whole DTY
  84. coding department) For each ticket
  85. sold, 1 quid is added. For example,
  86. 300 tickets sold means a first prize
  87. of 300 quid!!! (Prize money for second
  88. and third places will be worked out
  89. using the same method for each Amiga
  90. related competition.) Example prizes
  91. for the non-Amiga related
  92. competitions are: trophies, joysticks,
  93. drinks vouchers, disks, old junk that
  94. no-one wants, etc.

  99.  A 30 Amp power supply.
  100.  A conference room for eating,

  116. is the possibility of a 20ft by 12 ft
  117. RGB and video projector.
