Founded in 1982, the U.S. Export Council for Renewable Energy (US/ECRE) is a non-profit organization supporting the U.S. renewable energy and energy efficiency industries in efforts to accelerate international use of their technologies. Through its seven member trade associations, US/ECRE represents over 1,000 of the major companies operating in the U.S. that provide geothermal, hydropower, passive solar, photovoltaics, solar thermal, and wind energy.
