Introduction to Lighting:
Table of Contents
Light enables us to see. When light enters our eyes, it excites cells
in the back of our eyes which transmit electrical signals to our
brains. The signals are processed both in our eyes and in various
structures in our brains. The signals form our perception of objects
and the world around us, and include sensations of color, brightness,
and contrast.
