This is a new release of the SunAngle calculator, which calculates the position of the sun and other terrestrial/solar angles based on your location and the time of day and year. This release is written in JavaScript, which allows the calculations to run on your local PC instead of on our internet server (this should speed things up a lot!).

Please send me mail telling me if this is a substantial improvement or if it doesn't work on your web browser for some reason. There is also a beta version of an overhang sizing tool available. Note: there have been problems reported with the JavaScript version running on older copies of Netscape Navigator (<3.0). Until I verify this and deal with fixing incompatibilities you can access the old calculator here.
