Ibuprofen

This NSAID preparation (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug) has been a god- send for many of us!. Commonly known as Advil or MOTRIN, and available in liquid forms and chewable tablets too, these medicines not only take away minor pains but also is great for high fever control! It usually lasts 6-8 hours (as compared to Tylenol which only lasts 4 hours at best) and it tastes pretty good. Dosing is 10mg per kilogram of weight for fever over 102F or pain.
