How do I use: [Search It!]

  • Use this function to search the AllApartments database.

Step #1: You must enter the state & city you wish to search to narrow the list of matching apartments.

Example = State: AZ City: Phoenix

Step #2: Click on "search it" button, to see a list of surrounding cities.

** If the city or state is typed in wrong, you will enter a screen where you will be told that it was not found & you will be asked: "would you like to see a list of similarly-spelled cities?" Click: "Yes, I would" or "No, take me back to the starting page" to try again.

Step #3: Pick any additional surrounding cities or metro areas you want to search.

** If you are not familiar with your desired area you can press "Show me a map of the Metro Area" to view a map of the area.

Step #4: Click on "Search Checked Cities", after you have defined your area search.

Step #5: If there are more than 15 apartments in your desired area, you will enter the options screen where you can narrow your search in the following ways:

  1. Choose a bedroom type
  2. Choose a starting rent range (the default displayed on the screen shows in the lowest and highest rents for all unit types).
  3. Choose apartment and property features rated on a scale from 'gotta have it' to 'no way' to narrow your apartment search.

Note: Choosing "gotta have" will force the search engine to only display properties that have that feature. Choosing "would like" will display properties that don't match that feature, but your list will be sorted to show you the properties with the most matches first.

Step #6: Click on (any of the apartments listed to bring up their electronic brochure).

** If the electronic brochure does not include a map you can press the "map it" button to locate the specific apartment property.

How do I use: [Find It!]

  • Use this function to go directly to an apartment's homepage.

Step #1: You must enter the state & city you wish to search to narrow the list of matching apartments.

Example = State: AZ City: Phoenix

Step #2: Type in the name of the apartment you want more information on in the find it box.

Example = Rancho Las Palmas

** If you are not clear on the full name of the apartment complex, try typing in the first few letters of the complex. This will often bring up the apartment's electronic brochure.

Step #3: Click on the "find it" button, to bring up the apartment.

** If an apartment is not found or the city, state, or name is typed in wrong, you will enter a screen where you will be told that the apartment was not found & will be asked: "Would you like to see a list of similarly-spelled cities?" Click: "Yes, I would" or "No, take me back to the starting page" to try again.

** If the electronic brochure does not include a map you can press the "map it" button to locate the specific apartment property.

How do I use: [Show It!]

  • Use this proximity function to find the 10 closest properties to a given address or intersection.

Step #1: You must enter the state & city you wish to search to narrow the list of matching apartments.

Example = State: AZ City: Phoenix

Step #2: Enter in the cross streets, a specific street address, or the zip code of where you want to search for an apartment.

Example:  Streets: Main & Southern
          Zip Code: 85281

Step #3: Click on "show it" button, to see a map and legend of the 5 closest apartments.

Step #4: Click on (any of the apartments listed in the legend to bring up their electronic Brochure).

** If the electronic brochure does not include a map you can press the "map it"; button to locate the specific apartment property.
