[Environmental Settings]

TMPGEnc's primary settings window.

This window contains the primary settings for the encoder. Beginner users will have no need to change any of these settings.

These settings are saved to the file called "TMPGEnc.ini" in the application folder upon exit.

The "Environmental Settings" window contains [Settings], [CPU], [Sound], [External Tool], and [VFAPI Plugins] tabs.

"Settings" Tab
TMPGEnc's general settings.

"CPU" Tab
CPU related settings. One can select the most appropriate options for their system's CPU.

"Sound" Tab
Set the event sound.

"External Tool" Tab
Setting for external MPEG Audio compressors.

"VFAPI Plugins" Tab
Settings for VFAPI plugins.
-[VFAPI Plugins] Tab

"OK" Button
Close the "Environmental Settings" window and keep the new settings.

"Cancel" Button
Close the window and discard the changes.
