To set up a bit rate-based VBR encoding session

1. On the toolbar, click Properties, and then click the Compression tab.
2. In Destination, click File download.
3. In Video and Audio, select the settings you want for video and audio.

   -or-

   Specify your own settings by clicking Edit.

Note

• This VBR mode uses two-pass encoding. Two-pass encoding is not available for certain scenarios.
