General tab
The General tab displays the following information:
- Input. Identifies the currently selected source.
- Encoding. Provides information about the encoding settings used in the session, whether the content has been protected with DRM, the size of the video image, whether any preprocessing filters are applied, the bit rate, the expected and actual (average) frame rate, and the total number of script commands inserted into the stream.
- Output. For encode (or archive) to file sessions, lists the file being created. For broadcasts, lists the broadcast port and number of clients connected. For broadcasts through a Windows Media server, lists the URL used by clients to connect to the broadcast from the server.
- Progress. Identifies the amount of time elapsed since encoding started. For file sources, identifies the estimated time remaining to encode the content and the percentage complete.
- System. Identifies the amount of space remaining on your hard disk, the percentage of your CPU resources used for the session, and the amount of time remaining until your hard disk is full.
