You have created a publishing point that will distribute content as a multicast stream from the server running Windows Media Services. Before you can begin streaming from the server, you must create an announcement for the stream. You can use the Multicast Announcement Wizard in the encoder to create the announcement; otherwise, the you must create the announcement on the Windows Media server.
