Adding language support to a file

You can use Windows Media Stream Editor to add audio streams that contain different languages into a file. Then, users can choose the language they want to listen to when playing the file. The following example illustrates how to set up two languages in one file.

When you add language support to a file, the following properties must be the same for the audio streams:

• Bit rates
• Codecs used
• Encoding mode (for example, constant bit rate or variable bit rate)
• Audio format (sampling rate and number of channels)
