To encode all files within a folder

1. Open a command prompt window.
2. At the command prompt, type the path to the folder where the file Wmcmd.vbs is located. For example:

   cd \program files\windows media components\encoder

3. Type the following command, and then press the ENTER key:

   cscript.exe wmcmd.vbs –input drive:\Input_folder -output drive:\Output_folder 

   For example:

   cscript.exe wmcmd.vbs –input C:\My-songs –output C:\My-songs-coded

Notes

• If the output folder does not already exist, it is created for you.
• Enclose folders that have spaces in quotations. For example, "my folder."
