When your channel is updated (you've got new mail or the message is changed), WatzNew™ will notify you in any preferred way:
Ў No action: No visible or audible action is performed. The channel icon will change it's color to white in channel list.
¤ Flashing tray icon: Tray icon flashes. The type of icon ( "channel" or "letter") depends on type of the channel that caused icon to flash.
Ў Popup window: The Alert window with the channel title and the new message comes up.

Ў Popup hint (Win2K only): The tray icon hint with the channel title and the new message comes up. This option is avaliable only under Windows 2000/Me/XP.

There are additional options you can set for each channel:
ю Play sound: The sound (WAV-file) associated with the current channel type is played additionally.
