window.
- Enable MIDI Remote Control - When not checked, you will not be able to use MIDI
remote control in FruityLoops, but the device you use for remote control will
be released for use in other applications you run simultaneously with
FruityLoops.
- Enable MIDI Output - When not checked, you will not be able to use MIDI output in
FruityLoops, but the device you use for output will be released for use in
other applications you run simultaneously with FruityLoops.
- Enable MIDI Master Sync - If checked, FruityLoops
will sync (as a master) with an external MIDI device or a sequencer. You can
choose a device to sync with in the MIDI Settings window.
- Typing Keyboard to MIDI (
Ctrl+T) - When turned on, you
can use your typing keyboard to record notes as you would do with a real MIDI
keyboard.
- Metronome (
Shift+Ctrl+M) - When turned on, you will hear a
short "metronome" sound in the beginning of each beat with an accent at the
beginning of each bar. It is especially useful when you need to keep yourself
"synced" with song tempo when recording a melody from a MIDI keyboard.
- Blend Recorded Notes (
Ctrl+B) - When turned on, notes
you record will blend with the already existing ones, otherwise any old notes
will be overwritten by the recorded ones.
- Start on Input - When turned on, pressing the Play
button will set FruityLoops into waiting mode and the actual playing/recording begins
at the moment input data is received (for example, when a key is pressed
on the MIDI keyboard).
