Open LogonStudio and click on “Import” as showed below:
A new window will appear, choose the logonui file under “Filename” and fill all the fields (Give author credits!), when finished click on “Convert”.
LS will extract all bitmaps and create a theme.ini file in a directory under the program path.
Locate the imported logon under “Available logons” and click on “Edit”.
Here is the editor window:
Take a look at a screenshot of the logon you want to import and let’s fix it to be the same as the original one.
Thirst thing to do is to set the right style of the Center panel picture
Let’s look at the screenshot:
1) Select “1) Fixed Size” for the style, then you have to specify the Height and Width of the picture to fill the area deseeded; to do that fill the “Pic Width” and “Pic Height” properties, you will immediately see the result in the preview window.
(You can use percent values to make the logon resolution independent)
Put “83%” for “Pic Height” and “50%” for “Pic Width” it should work well.
2) Select “6) Stretched” for the style and the picture will fill the entire panel.
3) Select “0) Tiled” for the style.
Now is time to fix the Accounts position.
Click on the account picture or select “User” -> “User Accounts” in the “Elements” window.
Select the “Account Position” property and click on the “..” button.
Click on one of the rectangles to set the deseeded position, then click “OK”
Let’s now save and preview the logon…
Click on Save, Make to save the logon and create the required UIFILE.
Now to preview it click on “Apply”.
The logon does not have the top and/or bottom panels?
Click on the panel you want to delete and set the “Visible” property to “False”
You don’t want the dividers?
Click on “Panels”->”Dividers” in the “Elements” window; than select Top, Bottom or Center Picture and click the “..” button.
To make invisible a divider uncheck “Use Picture” click “OK” and the divider will be invisible.
All message fonts and color should be the same as the original logon if not fix them by selecting the message deseeded and setting the right “Font” or “Forecolor” properties.
I think we have finished if not look at other tutorial for more tips.
Bye
