There are a number of ways to close browser tabs. The buttons on the top right hand corner of the application allow you to close the active browser tab or to close all browser tabs. These items are also available from the File menu. The Close item on the browser tab popup menu (right-click on a browser tab) allows you to close the selected tab. Finally, the shortcut CTRL+W closes the active browser tab. CTRL+SHIFT+W will close all tabs.
