Forte FreeAgent is a popular free-ware news reader. The instructions below tell you how to set up Forte FreeAgent to connect to Madasafish.
The instructions and screen-shots below use the Windows 95 version of Forte FreeAgent but the information should apply to other versions of this product.
Click on the Options menu then click on General Preferences.
Click on the User tab.
Insert your details as follows:
| E-Mail Address: | Your Email Address |
| Full Name: | Your Name |
| Organization: | Your Organization (if you have one) |
| Reply To: | (leave blank) |
You do NOT have to select Server requires authorization login.
Then click on the System tab.
Type in your settings as follows:
| News server: | news.madasafish.com |
| E-mail Server: | smtp.madasafish.com |
Then click on the Dial-up tab and check that the Dial-Up Networking connection listed next to Connection: is the appropriate Dial Up Networking connection for you to connect with .
Click on OK and Forte FreeAgent should now be set up to connect to Madasafish.
