Switching between open Files

Constructor 99 can open a maximum of eight files. This restriction has been imposed because some machines can crash if too many files are opened due to a lack of memory. Each time a files is opened or created, a new tab is created underneather the toolbars in the main window. To switch to edit a different file which is already open, you can simply click on the related tab. If the file has been saved, this tab will show the file name. Otherwise, it will show "Untitled 1", "Untitled 2" etc.
