In Built Preview
The in-built preview is only available to users who have Internet Explorer 4 or greater installed. I regret that I cannot offer a similar function to Netscape users due to the way Netscape has released it's browsers. For those of you who do have IE4, you should have an additional window below the main Constructor window. This displays a preview of what the page you are editing will look like when you publish it. It is uipdated each time you press [Return], and you can also update it using the View | Internal Preview menu item. Since the preview is powered by Internet Explorer, the preview should be a very accurate representation of what the page will look like, although you should still test the page using other browsers as well. You can print the preview by right-clicking on it and selecting Print.
If you find that the preview is slowing your computer down too much, you can either:
- Stop it updating on each return by going to the Constructor 99 Settings window (Options | Settings), go to the OnReturn tab and uncheck the Update Preview on Return box
- Close the preview by clicking on the X in the top-right of the preview window.
