Find and Replace

Constructor 99 includes the standard find and replace functions which automatically select a specified section of text. The commands can be found under the Edit menu as Find..., Find Again and Replace.... The Find command displays a dialog box into which you type the text you want to find. The next instance of this text after the current cursor position is highlighted in the file. The Find Again command repeats the last search action to find the next instance of the same text without having to go back into the Find dialog. The Replace command brings up the Replace dialog into which you type the text you want to find and the text you want to replace it with. If you want to delete the text which matches the text to find, leave the text to replace it with blank. You can also use the Replace All button to keep searching for the text all the way to the end of the file and automatically replacing all instances of the text.
