The use of video footage is generally discouraged in web pages due to the huge size of the video files. MPEG encoded videos is just about acceptable, but this requires the use of specialist hardware which is still quite rare. As DVD drives begin to make an impact, more people may get MPEG boards to see the video's which are available on the DVD discs, but at present not enough people have them and a fast enough connection to make such a site have a wide appeal.
