ALL ITALIAN ALLEGED UFO PICTURES FOR YOU
PHOTOCAT is the catalogue of the Italian cases offering video or photo evidence, something
thought to be an ultimate proof of what has been perceived by witnesses, anyway an evidence
being very questionable.
The PHOTOCAT Project started up in 1992: it has collected nearly all the available documentation of Italian photo cases happened between 1948 and 1995. The catalogue now counts about 600 entries coming from several sources: unfortunately, the information quality of such sources is usually quite low. All the available pictures (now in excess of 600) have been digitized by a scanner in standard formats and filed on computer within the PHOTOCAT database.
About one quarter of all cases refers to events where the "witness" claims no visible phenomenon when he took the picture. Only after film development he realized about the odd picture. Looking at these cases you may find a high number of photo defects (lens flares, development problems, scratches on the film, etc .....), most of them easily detectable.
It is necessary to remind most of available photo documents offer a low quality and - above all - a quite low reliability. Faking a claimed UFO picture is so easy that most researchers consider the photographic evidence nothing more than an oddity.
ATTENTION ! A large selection of Italian UFO pictures is now available and regularly updated.
