These chapters are excerpted from the soon-to-be-published book Special Edition Using JavaScript. In order include then on the Java-SIG Library of Applets CD-ROM, we have included these chapters which represent the first draft of this book. This material has not yet been through the rigorous technical and grammatical editing that it will undergo at Que before being completed and published in printed form. Therefore, some errors may exist here that will be corrected before the book is published. In addition, the JavaScript specification was not yet final at the time of this writing. Therefore, there may be some changes to the specification at a later date that are not reflected in this first draft. Any changes will be addressed in the final draft before the book is published.
