The "Open..." command allows you to open an XML schema, DTD or .sps file. The familiar Windows "Open" dialog is opened and allows you to select one of these file types.
You may get an error message if your file is either not well-formed or invalid, in this case switch to XML Spy and try to resolve the problem there.
Opening a .sps file displays the tags in the Design view, and automatically loads all the XML files associated with this file (Schema/DTD and XML document instance).
