Introduction to the Interface - Scripting Guide |
|
{content}The ScriptWorx interface can now be scripted, using languages like JavaScript and VBScript to automate tasks, add new functionality or to update existing features. ScriptWorx requires the Microsoft ActiveScripting to be installed on your PC, which is included with Internet Explorer 4.0 or above. To get the ActiveScripting technology, please visit http://www.microsoft.com/msdownload/vbscript/scripting.asp Rather than provide access to multiple scripts, each script is located under a tab on the "Actions" bar. Each tab reflects the name of the author or company, so that scripts by the same author appear under each tab. If the script file has an extension called .js then ScriptWorx switches to JavaScript mode, whereas an extension like .vb or .vbs switches the program to VBScript mode. |
