Introduction to the Interface - Toolbars

Each toolbar in ScriptWorx can be dragged and dropped using the small, dotted line at the top or left corner of the toolbar (see figure 1). There are dock areas on all four sides of the window to allow you to organize your toolbars.

To switch a toolbar off (including the Code Controller), right-click it and click on the name of the toolbar you would like to remove. If you removed this toolbar by mistake, you can retrieve it by right-clicking on any other toolbar and select the missing toolbar again to show it.

Toolbars and menus can be customized, on the premise that commands can be dragged, dropped or removed from a toolbar. There are two methods of performing this.

A - Quick Customize

Look at the right-most part of a toolbar for a small, downward facing arrow. Click this using you left mouse button, and you will see a list of commands available for the toolbar you are customizing. Click each command to switch it on or off (see figure 2)

B - Fully Customize

Right-click on any toolbar, and choose the "Customize" option from the menu. You will now see a window with several tabs in it, you must click the "Commands" tab:

  • Choose a command category from the list.
  • Find the command you want from the "Commands" list.
  • Drag and drop the command onto any toolbar or menu (press and hold down your left mouse button whilst dragging).
  • Click the "Close" button.
